Areas of Practice

Are you seeking Balance? Peace? Insight? Confidence and self-esteem? Higher life satisfaction? Support through a life transition? As therapists, we can offer tools and resources to help you improve stress management and self-care practices. We utilize evidence-based strategies to address depression and anxiety symptoms. We can help you develop more effective communication and conflict resolution skills to improve relationships. Together, we can explore the barriers that are keeping you from living the life you want. Most importantly, we will support you on your journey toward wellness - whatever that may look like for you.

We approach our work with cultural humility and are committed to supporting clients of all cultural and gender identities, including those from marginalized groups who may have experienced racism, sexism, heterosexism, and other forms of systemic oppression.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION

Kerrie provides licensure supervision for Associate’s level counselors (LCMHCAs). To become fully licensed, LCMHCAs must complete 3000 hours of professional clinical practice under a qualified supervisor. Clinical supervision supports the development of mental health professionals by offering oversight and support from a more experienced therapist. Clinical supervision includes attention to clinical skill development, conceptual and assessment skills, professional development, and personal growth as it relates to the counselor’s work with clients.

Kerrie also offers training, consultation, and support for clinical supervisors, particularly those new to providing licensure supervision under the North Carolina Board for Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors (NCBLCMHC).

Please contact Kerrie to schedule a consultation and for information about individual and group supervision rates.
